Wildlife Lens Holiday Haul
After disappointments such as the blurry grizzly shot in Glacier National Park, it is time to up my photography game with a lens better suited for wildlife photography. Christmas seemed to provide all the remaining inducement needed. So, I got the lens and went to town.
The Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens is too good for me. There are plenty of more passionate, skilled photographers who can do more with less. But man, is it not a thing of beauty? The autofocus purrs. The motion correction is crisp (I shot free hand). And the resulting shot is brilliant.
