Off the Beaten Path

Wandering in the Wilderness

Our vintage 1970 Avion C11 truck camper gets to some pretty remote parts of this wild country on the back of our 2015 Ram 3500. We love getting off the beaten path and finding quiet locations to explore and camp. Here are some of the exciting trails we have enjoyed!

Echo Canyon is remote in as much as it truly requires 4-wheel drive to travers the occasional patches of boulders. There's no driving around them when squeezed by the tight canyon walls. But that challenge makes for exquisitely exclusive experiences.
