Well, looks like winter is rolling in. We made it out to Oklahoma and a break with friends just before torrential rains came to meet us from the west. We enjoyed one-day leeway of riding around on four-wheelers across an extensive ranch before the temperature plummeted and the land was transmuted into mud. A brief flirtation with tank-tops ended in winter coats. Yet, we were happy to be staying indoors for the storm, only returning to the road as the clouds proceeded east and we slipped out from under them.
