This is not the first time we have visited Surfside Beach. It is the first time we have driven on the beach. Better yet, it’s the first time that we have visited with a drone. Put it all together and what do you get? A mini movie!
Yes, you can drive on Surfside Beach in Texas. Better yet, drones are permitted on Surfside Beach. We even stopped a local cop to double check and had a long conversation about drones on the beach. Did you know that some people use drones for fishing? I didn’t.
Have you ever used a drone to fish? Because now I’m super curious. The cop said that they could be used for precisely dropping hooks but I have yet to see someone do it.
But I digress. Look, for a rare second, we have places to go and a schedule to keep (more on that later) but I NEEDED to drive on Surfside Beach. Here is my proof that we did it.
