Poulsbo, Washington could be called “Little Scandinavia.” There is no shortage of viking images, Ollie & Lena jokes, and so very many baked goods. And while I am not one to turn down a troll house cookie or a Swedish cake, we weren’t here for the pastries. No, we were here for the fireworks. In a deviation from what most towns do, Poulsbo celebrates Independence day on the 3rd of July. So we, and a plethora of Seattleites, crowded the small town of Poulsbo for explosions.
