Baltimore Maritime Museum

Baltimore did not get it’s due. After a relatively sleepless night, I had exhausted my energy but had acquired a migraine. It was a beautiful day along the bay but our tour of a WWII submarine left me ill from the stale air. A better experience was found on the Constellation, the last military ship powered by sails owned by the US, which patrolled the Mediterranean during the Civil War to prevent the confederates from gaining resources in Europe. It was a beautiful ship and included an entertaining audio tour.

The Original Recipe

Call it serendipity. Call it fate. We call it lunch. Today, while driving through Kentucky, we saw signs for the home of the original Kentucky Fried Chicken and its accompanying museum. Food and a museum in one place? Excellent!

World Wrestling Entertainment, formally the WWF until they lost a law suite to the World Wildlife Fund

As an individual with genteel sensibilities, I am not usually accustomed to stand idly by while people beat each other up. That being said, I guess it's less of a matter for concern when people pretend to slam opponents on their backs. So, in the interest of partaking in the cultural events of this region, we attended WWE Summer Slam in Nashville, TN.
